I can't believe I've been away from my blog for so long! So much has been going on and I've been juggling a bunch of stuff (work and health wise) but I'm ready to get back to the crafting blogasphere and let you know what I'm up to.
First of all, I have never been exclusive to any craft company....until now. I am a coach for Fun Stampers Journey! I saw the catalog and fell in love. Stamps, dies, paper, cardstock, inks, and so much more. The colors are fantastic. The inks are a fusion of pigment and dye. And the stamps are red rubber that stamp beautifully. More about that as I gather my supplies and get busy.
So, this week is all about graduation cards. I've been asked to make 5 cards in 3 different school colors. I loved the whole process. I've been scrapbooking with my friend Becky. Her oldest graduated this year and she is trying to get her albums in order. I've really enjoyed the time spent working with her.
That is about it. I'll be getting some help with my blog to better serve anyone who wants to check out my Fun Stampers Journey website and my Plexus site. When those sites are up and running I'll post a link on my blog.
Thanks and happy rafting everyone!

Wow! It's been a busy 2 months around here. Tomorrow I send the yearbook for my son's school off to the printer and then I can get back to my krafty korner and get busy! In my last post I promised pics of decorated bags.......here are a few:
I made a couple baby shower cards, I can only find the card for a baby boy, but I'll keep looking.
And my dad turned 72 today so we had a little party for him yesterday and I made a birthday banner for him: I used CTMH Art Philosophy for the banners cut at 6". The scallop was also on that cart cut at 4". Happy Birthday was cut from Birthday Bash as was the party hat.

Wow! I can't believe how how fast time flies. It's already one week into 2013 and I'm just getting back to my blog. Christmas was great, loved all the time home, little sad to be going back to work this week but if I'm going on another scrapbook retreat in a few weekks I'm going to need a little extra cash!
Over vacation I discovered I LOVE to decorate bags. You know the kind you can pick up at Michael's or A.C. Moore 12 to a pack. So much fun and they turned out beautiful. I will post pics in a day or two.
I've been asked to make up a basket of homemade all occassion cards for an auction at my son's school. Pretty excited about that! I love when people appreciate my efforts. I love making cards, bags, pages and just re-doing something to make it beautiful and to have people ask for my services is a wonderful feeling.
Now, I better get back to the krafty korner and make something beautiful!
Happy krafty peeps :)

It's a very early Saturday after Thanksgiving and I just finished up a bridal shower card for this afternoon. I think it turned out beautiful! Thanksgiving in our house was a little delayed due to a turkey that refused to cook! Of course, once it saw the erroe of it's ways, it was delicious. Had just a couple people over but it's was just a thankful time spent with family. I really love my family and spending time with them. There have been many changes this week. A new cousin born Wednesday, triplets came Thursday (along with the bride to be!), sister-in-law flew in from Texas Friday, and don't forget the Black Friday shopping! I did not get up early, just couldn't do it, but we did venture out this afternoon and made it home about 10:00. I made a huge dent in my shopping. Yayyyy! Now the wrapping. Ugh!
On to the card. I used my Cricut and cut the frame using the Fancy Frames cartridge I won from www.Joyslife.com last summer and the Victorian Romance cartridge for the dress. I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug to emboss the mat behind the dress. I added a metal charm from my stash tied up with some ribbon from Michael's.

The hubs and boy were gone again this weekend with their boy scout troop so I spent ALOT of time in my craft room! I worked on a few swaps and decided that my Christmas cards would not make themselves and there was no better time than the present. So I got busy. First I made a box to put them in...
And then I made this card to match the box...
Then I moved on to a couple cards with non-traditional Christmas colors......
And another non-traditional color mix
Now the next two cards are almost identical but I wasn't sure what color to make the star...What do you think?
And last but not least......
I am far from being down but I'm super excited to have gotten a jump on my cards! Let me know what you think :)

Well, I'm back! I had a great weekend at a crop over the weekend in Ohio. Geneva-On-The-Lake Ohio is just a nice, relaxing place to visit and scrapbook. I finished 12 pages, made a half dozen or so gift card holders and snuck in a trip to Pat Catans while I was there! we stayed at The Lodge and let me just say, WOW. I didn't spend much time in my room but when I did it was great having my own Keurig so I could have a yummy cup of coffee when I wanted one. My aunt came with me and I do think she had just as much fun as me.
I'll only post a few pics of the pages I finished and then I have a pic of the wreath I made for my son's teacher for Thanksgiving. He attends a small catholic school so I didn't do anything for Halloween so I wanted to have a mice greeting on the door for the last few weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.
I love making anything paper related, I never considered myself a scrapbooker but I really did enjoy the whole process. I need to add some maybe an embellishment or two but overall I'm pleased with how they all turned out.
Thanks for looking :)
